ACDB is an important part of SPV system. It gives extra protection to the system in case of failures on the load side. ACDB is made up of breaker, isolators, voltage, and current monitoring, etc. To ensure maximum protection to the sophisticated electronic equipment, It has provision for surge protection in the box along with fuses. Also, ACDB has an energy meter which helps you to know how much energy you are using or withdrawing from solar energy. AC Distribution Box incorporates 4 pole MCB. MCCB, terminals, voltage and current monitoring, etc.
DC Distribution Unit is used to collect DC output from Array Junction Box (AJB) & supply it to the inverter.
DCDB provides flexibility for the operator of solar power plants to connect & disconnect the inward Solar Supply & Battery Terminals.
DCDB has two sections 1) Solar Section, 2) Battery section.
In each section of DCDB have MCB / MCCB & a fuse of proper rating depending upon the capacity of the power plant & battery bank is used.
DCDB isolates the battery bank & Inverter from any electric surge.
DCDB makes maintenance easier and enhances system reliability.
